‘RAINFOREST OASIS’ LIMITED EDITION SCENT LAUNCH



INTRODUCTION

Wild, a sustainable bathroom brand, introduced the limited edition "Rainforest Oasis" scent in Q2 2024, featuring body wash and deodorant. The campaign aimed to transport customers to a tropical paradise, reinforcing Wild’s eco-friendly ethos through sensory-driven visuals.


THE MISSION

I was tasked to create immersive, rainforest-inspired imagery for the campaign. Collaborating with Wild's creative team, we developed ad concepts that transformed the bathroom into a lush oasis. Using real plants, orchids, and moss, I styled and built a vibrant tropical scene in the studio to visually represent the Rainforest Oasis experience.

THE OUTCOME

The final images, bathed in golden light and mist, captured the essence of the Rainforest Oasis Scent. These visuals were utilized across Wild's marketing channels and advertisements, enhancing their brand perception and reinforcing Wild’s sustainability message.

THE CLIENT

WHO IS WILD?


Wild is the trailblazing refillable bathroom brand on a mission to eradicate single-use plastic from our daily routines. They are best known for their flagship product, refillable deodorants, made from natural ingredients and proudly vegan. Wild has won the hearts of environmentally conscious consumers looking for sustainable personal care options.

"Rainforest Oasis" is a body wash and deodorant scent introduced during Wild's Q2 2024 limited edition launch. Wild aimed to revitalise customer engagement and attract new customers by transporting them from their bathroom to a lush, tropical paradise with each use of the Rainforest Oasis deodorant and body wash. To convey the sensory allure of the rainforest through digital platforms, I was tasked to create an immersive and visually stunning campaign that would resonate with their audience and enhance their brand identity


THE PROCESS


We conducted collaborative ideation sessions, during which the in-house creative team and I worked together to develop social media ad concepts around inviting viewers into a world where the boundaries of a bathroom disappeared and a rainforest emerged. I brought these concepts and Rainforest Oasis to life in the photography studio by constructing a lush rainforest. I used real plants, fresh orchids, and layers of moss to create an immersive environment that felt like it was from the heart of Brazil.


THE OUTCOME


My efforts resulted in a collection of soothing and misty product imagery. The scene was bathed in golden sun rays, casting an ethereal glow upon the products and evoking the earthy, invigorating scent of the rainforest. With careful attention to detail, I managed every aspect of the shoot, from arranging the foliage to composing each shot, ensuring a seamless integration of the products with the environment. The images served as a testament to Wild’s dedication to product quality and sustainability.

THE IMPACT


This campaign's creativity significantly improved from their Q1 limited edition scent launch. Customers responded positively, enhancing the perception of Wild. With a project turnaround of just under 12 working days, this project is a great example of the power of highly creative photography and how that transforms brand perceptions.
